I set out to see if the AMBI ELITE Precision Stock design affected the experience and comfort of my AR15. I was interested to see if it created an overall reduction of stress on the muscles, along with being able to build a consistent custom fit.
The AMBI ELITE Precision Stock has been designed with great care and is very sturdy. In addition to enjoying the product itself, I also experienced outstanding customer service from William, from the install to the implementation with phone calls, photos, and written descriptions on how to best optimize the stock.
It features an offset (Cast) of a tube stock that can be adjusted to the right or the left, an elevation adjustment, and choices of a very comfortable Limb saver AirTech recoil pad.
Some of the specifics are as follows:
- ¾ thick AIRTECH Recoil-pad
- Eliminated felt punch, and recoil impact up to 70%
- Reduces muzzle lift
- Setability Recoil pad position can be cast left or right from 1-20 degrees
- Heel and toe adjustment up or down 8” max for heads up position
- Extendable length of pull 9” to 16” can be adjusted to greater if required
- Weight 13.4 ounces
One of the key components of accuracy and recoil control management is adapting proper body and head position, this stock allows you to custom fit to your body type and length of pull in a wide variety of choices. This perfect fit will allow you to have more consistency, optimal performance, quicker shoulder mounting, faster target to target transition times, and together will aid in shooting consistency which will provide a better overall performance.
I used my AR15 with the AMBI ELITE Precision Stock in a recent Appleseed 25m Rifle Marksmanship event and proud to report I was able to earn my much-coveted Rifleman patch. This is an event where you must shoot a timed and scored course of fire standing, sitting and prone, and this stock allowed me to be able to customize my rifle to positions that were consistent to enable me to quickly get my sights on target.
